We released 2.0.0 and 2.0.1, after we made a huge optimization on our iOS SDK, Android SDK and Server side code.
What’s Changed?
v2.0.0 – 2015-December-22
v2.0.1 – 2015-December-24
- Key Reduction changes – merge from key_reduction branch. Implemented contextual compression of data to that is reported to servers to attain 93% compression on top of gzip compression implemented in the alpha version.
- Removed artificial intelligence code related to proximity sensor in iOS SDK based on feedback from customer. This code will continue to be available in 1.6.x version.
- We rewrote how we use the sensors on devices, which lead to huge battery gains.
- Added support for full version in both payload and header. This allows load balancers to work effectively without inspecting payloads. In addition, it provides infrastructural routing as data from apps using previous versions of SDK can be handled by separate infrastructure.
8-i-2.0.1 implies data schema version 8, iOS and iOS Pyze SDK version 2.0.1 and 8-a-2.0.1 implies data schema version 8, Android and Android Pyze SDK version 2.0.1
